AISES National Conference

Melanie will be in Orlando for the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) national conference November 13-15. This will mark our second AISES event: a number of AAE students, along with the AAE director, traveled to an AISES leadership conference last year.

AISES works to increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in Engineering, sciences and other related technology disciplines. It turns out we're something of an AISES ourselves: providing student support for Queen's Aboriginal students, and promoting the industry to Native youth and teachers across Canada.
