Role Model(s)

Examples:

Did you know that Canada is a world leader in the field of aerospace engineering? Aerospace engineers develop and design extraordinary technologies such as:

  • supersonic jets
  • helicopters
  • space shuttles
  • satellites
  • rockets
In your community:

While it's unlikely anyone will be launching a rocket from your community anytime soon, there is still an important role for aerospace engineers there.

Aerospace engineers design and manufacture communications satellites and ground based satellite dishes. These technologies send and receive signals for television, telephone and the Internet.

Become an aerospace engineer and you could help people in your community access health and education services for which they would otherwise have to travel long distances.

Aptitude:

If you like...

  • Problem solving
  • Being creative
  • Building model airplanes and rockets
  • Electronics
  • Drawing
  • Science

...you might enjoy Aerospace Engineering.
