Mechanical Engineering Aerospace

Aerospace engineers design and build aircraft, spacecraft, aerospace equipment, satellites and missiles. Work done by aerospace engineers has made such things as airplane and space travel possible.

Examples:

Did you know that Canada is a world leader in the field of aerospace engineering? Aerospace engineers develop and design extraordinary technologies such as:

Did you know that Canada is a world leader in aerospace engineering? Aerospace engineers design and build amazing technologies such as:

  • supersonic jets
  • helicopters
  • space shuttles
  • satellites
  • rockets

In your community:

While it's unlikely anyone will be launching a rocket from your community anytime soon, there is still an important role for aerospace engineers there.

Aerospace engineers design and produce satellites that send and receive signals for your TV, telephone and even the Internet.

If you become an aerospace engineer you could help people in your community get to hospitals and schools faster than before.
